Who Am I?

[edit | edit source]

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Canberra, currently in my 3rd year of a 5 year double degree in Psychology and Law.

My background is in visual media, predominately photography and video production. Whilst I am now studying to challenge myself in a new career, my previous career has taught me the value in attention to detail, listening to key messages, being engaged in your surroundings, and communicating with people from all walks of life.

I am a goal-orientated person, and am looking forward to absorbing as much as I can about the subject matter of Motivation and Emotion.

My current short-term goals include finding a way to motivate my 12 y.o. son to do his homework voluntarily, and to run my first marathon in Jan 2011.

My long-term goal is to complete my studies and direct my efforts to working for the United Nations or similar international humanitarian agencies.

I am not really a snowman... but he makes me smile!

e-Portfolio

A journal in the form of an e-Portfolio will voice my experiences, applications and reflections of the theory taught to me throughout my involvement in the Motivation & Emotion unit at the University of Canberra.
