Arrested Development: Jessica Walter teases shocking death (and arrest!) for season 5

Lucille Bluth may want to make sure Gene Parmesan is on retainer, or someone else might hire him to look into the Bluth family.

During an interview at EW’s Comic-Con Lounge with EW’s Tim Stack, the Archer cast stopped by to talk about the latest from FX’s animated comedy. But Jessica Walter also had a chance to speak about what fans can expect if a fifth season of Arrested Development ever comes to be.

“I talked to Mitch {Hurwitz] and said ‘What can I say'” Walter said. “He said, ‘We’re really anxious to get started because we want to tell the story now that Buster has been arrested for the murder of Liza Minnelli.’

“We can’t say who did it yet. He’s been arrested, but I can tell you we’re not sure, who really did it,” she continued.

Season 4 showcased the disappearance of Minnelli’s Lucille 2 on Cinco de Cuatro after her body is seen at the bottom of the stair car with blood splotches around it. What exactly happened remained a mystery, but it looks like Buster may have trouble on his hands if season 5 becomes a reality. Many involved with the show seems to be excited for that possible fifth season, so hopefully for now it’s a matter of when and not if before we see more of the Bluth family.
