some things about botw/totk link:

• he is tiny, canonically. he’s one of the shortest hylian adults
• he blushes and gets bashful when someone compliments him
• he’s likely selectively mute, at least before the calamity - as per zelda’s diary
• he doesn’t have visible abs
• but he does have visible scarring, especially on his torso, from the injuries he sustained during the calamity
• he enjoys puns - at least in botw. in totk. he’s not so punny
• he will eat questionable food, but raise an eyebrow at others eating the same questionable food
• after defeating calamity ganon, he stayed close to zelda and followed her everywhere - like he did when he was her knight
• he Will eat anything and is described in creating a champion as “a bit of a glutton”
• he’s a horse girl - genuinely an experienced horse trainer
• he was a knight from a young age and an accomplished one when he was a teenager
• he comes from a lineage of hylian knights (which, fun fact, are highly revered in alttp) and his father was a knight as well
• he’s stubborn and headstrong, but also he enjoys helping people when he can
• he’s very open about his amnesia and the fact that he’s over 100 years old - in fact, he uses it to try and get a noble pursuit out of furosa

The Bread Pirate on Youtube used game data to determine that Link is 158 cm or 5'2" in botw/totk by the way. Because the game itself uses meters as units of measurement and you can check this in a save editor.

So in case you were worried about being accurate, dude is 5'2".

the difference between how link does gender and how zelda does gender is that link decides what pronouns he’ll use that day based entirely on what outfit he’d like to wear, and zelda has a calendar up on the wall with five months blocked out weeks ahead of time and labeled “boy time”.
