Summary:

Lord Adam, born a beast from an ancestral and unbreakable curse, is determined to live in solitude so that his bloodline and curse will finally end with him. Yet magic intervenes and puts a young woman named Belle in his life, bound to his palace from an enchanted rose she plucked. Adam wants nothing to do with this woman who ruined his plans. He certainly is not going to fall in love with her, no matter how sweet and fun and clever he discovers her to be. Belle is not happy to be trapped at the eerie palace either. She had plans to become a famous author and travel the world. But she’s determined to make the best of her situation by making a friend, or maybe something more, if she can ever get this cranky yet strangely kind beast to open up to her.

I think their unification on disliking him, even though it’s for different reasons, is really cute! Because you would think that Mr. Knightley would dislike Mr. Woodhouse, due to how irrational Mr. W. is, but he doesn’t at all. Mr. Knightley is always really kind and respectful to him, even when he’s being silly, and it’s sweet to know that Mr. K. is not just putting up with him, but actually agrees with him on some things. It’s cute imagining them as bros after Emma is married and they’re living in the same house together.

Another Jane Austen crack poll

I did the poll on which Jane Austen character would most likely have a Tumblr blog and which you'd most like to follow, now let's do one on which would most likely be a "Disney Adult."

If you're not familiar with the term, it basically means an adult who is really into Disney stuff. That's it. They might go to the theme parks even without kids, cosplay as Disney characters, collect Disney merch, write Disney fanfic, etc.

Now listen. I do not use this term pejoratively. Do not be making fun of Disney Adults! Arguably, I'm one myself, and everyone has different interests, hobbies, and hyperfixations.
