ABSTRACT This paper presents a fully integrated CMOS Power Amplifier designed in 0.13 um CMOS technology. The power combining topology based upon Distributed Active Transformer structures is employed to achieve high output power from several stages. A simple design methodology for DAT modeling is presented and the suitability of inverse Class-D amplifier in DAT is discussed. Simulation results validate the methodology and use of inverse Class-D amplifier. The designed PA delivers output power of 27.6 dBm at 1.8 GHz from a 1 V DC supply at 46.3% PAE while keeping the device stress within safe limits. The efficiency is maximum at 52% at 1.7 GHz. The amplifier is suitable for GSM, PCS and other wireless standards.

A simplified output matching network for pulse width modulated Class-E Power Amplifier for efficiency enhancement at back-off power level is proposed. The shunt capacitance and the series inductance in the Class-E PA are realized through capacitor banks that are tuned according to the duty cycle to meet ZVS conditions. The differential PA design is implemented in 130 nm CMOS technology achieving maximum Pout of 24.8 dBm at 1.8 GHz with PAE better than 38% at 50% duty cycle. The output power is modulated with the input duty cycle and provides 6.2 dB back-off power level keeping PAE almost constant around 38%.

Strategic management attempts to link strategic planning with decision making and these decisions implementation. The role of involvement -who should be involved and how that involvement should be managed is essential for effectual decision making. This paper scrutinizes the significance of involvement in decision making generally and demonstrate how involvement management principles apply to the strategic management process explicitly. Strategic management composed of three important steps: creation of a documented plan, making strategic planning an effectual part of the management systems, and appropriately manage involvement in the planning process. It requires that an organization's managers must be involved in a process of objectives identification, strategies development and implementation plans to accomplish those objectives, and sporadically evaluate the decisions implementation of decisions. Decision making, implementation, feedback, and evaluation; is a continuous process. Basically, effective decision making and implementation means congregating the right mix of people, convincing them that what they are doing is significant to the senior executive, and effectively managing their involvement in the decision making process. This paper provides some proven techniques that add value to many organizations.

Pakistan is losing its share in international market as compare to regional countries in leather sector due to high cost of production. It is declining from 1.2 Billion dollar to 900 Million. But still it is showing some positivity as because the 900 Million earned in 9 months. (Rana, 2016) Chairman Gulzar Firoz mentioned that the export of leather jackets declined by 19%, gloves by 16.5%, footwear by 31% during the first five months of 2015-16 and leather industry contributes 2.6% to GDP and only 5% to country’s total exports and providing jobs over one million skilled and semi-skilled workers. Pakistan’s share is 0.5% in world market for leather and leather products in inconsequential as compared to China’s 19%, Italy 9%, Vietnam 4% and India 2.5%. Furthermore, a decline of 20.5% has been observed in the recent export figures. Gulzar Feroz said “The industry imports raw skin and leather, it has to pay 3% custom duty, in the past duty was at 1% then increased to 2%”. The country pr...

Body area network (BAN) is an emerging technology in computer world, and plays very vigorous role in a society, mainly in health services. BAN helps in monitoring vital signs of a patient and can monitor patient’s history in routine life activities to provide them accurate treatment. Doctors can check the complete details of patients from remote location and can recommend a suitable medication. The main purpose of this technology is to reduce the load at hospitals and provide efficient healthcare facility remotely using medical implant communication system (MICS) and Wireless medical telemetry system (WMTS). To monitor the patients in their natural environments is not practical when devices or sensors are connected through a wire that is why we use Wireless body area network (WBAN) to carrying out daily activities through unobtrusive and contented way. This technology can provide very cheaper, easier and quick respondent history of patient.

The terrorism rate in Pakistan becomes higher even after the advancement of information technology. Especially APS Attack and numerous other in different part of country. The root cause of such attacks as according to our research is as: terrorists utilizing the benefit of lack of a full proof security check system. Traditional explosive detection systems are large in size, expensive and require manual attention. These systems are not much useful due to its public visibility intruder or terrorists can easily bypass the system using another route. This term paper is mainly focusing on explosive material detection using IoT with WSN. Explosive Material Detection and security alert system (e-DASS) consists of several hundreds of nodes depending upon the geographical area we are going to cover. Each node should be able to communicate with the other node and update the information if necessary. Tracking of the target can be done in an easier and faster way because all the nodes are synch...

In this paper we presents bandwidth estimation scheme for MANET, which uses some components of the two methods for the bandwidth estimation: ‘Hello Bandwidth Estimation’ & ‘Listen Bandwidth Estimation’. This paper also gives the advantages of the proposed method. The proposed method is based on the comparison of these two methods. Bandwidth estimation is an important issue in the Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) because bandwidth estimation in MANET is difficult, because each host has imprecise knowledge of the network status and links change dynamically. Therefore, an effective bandwidth estimation scheme for MANET is highly desirable. Ad hoc networks present unique advanced challenges, including the design of protocols for mobility management, effective routing, data transport, security, power management, and quality-of-service (QoS) provisioning. Once these problems are solved, the practical use of MANETs will be realizable.

In the fast growing competition of constantly developing markets and changing consumer preferences, some manufacturing companies are more successful than others to achieve its goals profitably. As competition is becoming more severe and alternatives are being introduced rapidly, firms struggle for the right of market share and to gain competitive advantage over their rivals to brighten their future and one way to do that is forming a strategic alliance by developing a relation between two or more independent firms that agree to share resources to achieve some common objectives. Forming an alliance can save costs and give access to new markets, which otherwise is not possible for many firms. Therefore, several key factors for strategic alliance formation and its success are important to consider. If a company overlooks the critical process of intensive analysis, designing, managing and evaluation any strategic move while practicing alliance, it can bear unrecoverable loss. Along with...
