During her 24-year House career, Pat Schroeder of Colorado became a champion of liberal causes and a feminist icon, weighing in on issues from arms control to women’s reproductive rights. The Supersisters cards, created to provide an alternative to all-male sports trading cards, fit well with Schroeder’s explicitly feminist interests.
