It is indeed great news that 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐢, a 1989 Batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre, currently serving as ACS Agriculture and APC, has been appointed as the 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚. Mr. AshwAni Bakshi , Chief Executive Officer and Ms. Ayati Singh , Senior Manager at Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture , recently held a meeting with the esteemed #GovernorofMaranhao Embassy of Brazil in New Delhi , 𝐇.𝐄. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚̃𝐨 𝐉𝐮́𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫. During the discussion, they explored how ICFA could serve as a bridge to connect Maranhão's exemplary Agricultural practices with India, fostering mutual benefits for both regions. The Governor also expressed interest in participating in 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, scheduled to take place in 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐢 from 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡. Additionally, ICFA has proposed of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (𝐌𝐨𝐔) with the state of Maranhão to contribute to the region's agriculture growth and visibility.
