Dies geschieht — nach einem einleitenden Überblick über die bisherigen Forschungsergebnisse (I) — im Rahmen von 3 Themen: (1) Seewege, Häfen und Schifle (II, III); (2) Geschichte der Kontakte mit den Ländern in Übersee (IV); (3) Importe und Exporte (V).
