Abstract
A method for stabilizing periodic orbits and steady states of chaotic systems is presented using specifically filtered feedback signals. The efficiency of this control technique is illustrated with simulations (Rössler system, laser model) and a successful experimental application for stabilizing intensity fluctuations of an intracavity frequency-doubled laser.
