English: The Cartwheel Galaxy is a ring galaxy located around 500 million light years away in the constellation of Sculptor. It is shown here in the near-infrared, captured by the James Webb Space Telescope's MIRI instrument. The telescope has also captured a mid-infrared image as well as a composite of the two images.
