nothing is like this. perfect visual poetry accompanying prose ripped straight out of pulpy mastertexts, translated into greek, spoken beautifully. a mode of adaptation entirely its own. this is what you get when a master experimental filmmaker decides his movies could use a few more shotguns.

david tennant as the slimy, manipulative avatar of the evils that men do. excellently plotted and portrayed, as our heroine desperately scrapes for a way to outsmart him… until the last ten minutes devolve into sensationalized fluff. not even his author could figure out a way around his invulnerable deception. what a waste!

true enough, though even the most famous guy online in a lycra suit had to show his face to make it stick. had he never revealed his identity, he couldn't have parlayed his spandex antics into times square billboards, or boba shop spotify playlists. good luck, spider-man; whoever you are.
