Our user studies with 35 international interviewees show that cost is a major influencer in mobile browsing user experience, and it is hard to understand, follow, and control mobile data traffic costs. In this paper, we discuss different billing models for mobile data traffic, how users perceive these billing models, and how they try to control costs. We discuss the different solutions for improving mobile browsing user experience on client, gateway, and carrier sides.

GOMOS observes stellar occultations, and determines ozone, NO2, NO3 , aerosol, O2, H2O and possibly OClO concentrations from the ratio of two stellar spectra, one outside the atmosphere, one through the atmosphere. The first step of the processing, Level 1b, consists of various instrumental corrections to obtain the measured atmospheric spectral transmission as a function of altitude/geolocation. The second step (Level 2) consists of one spectral inversion for each line of sight (retrieval of integrated line densities of various constituents) and one vertical inversion for the whole occultation. The analysis of two fast photometers (1 kHz) data will produce a high resolution profile for the temperature profile. Higher data products will be constructed with the sequential assimilation of GOMOS data into a CTM model

An axiomatical notion of distance (covering the pointwise and the Heyting distances) is provided, together with an associated notion of Cauchy sequence. Under natural hypotheses, the existence of Cauchy completions is proven. We analyze the connection to Boolean algebras along the canonical adjunction. The special class of proper LM m -algebras with Łukasiewicz distance is also investigated. Finally, we provide characterizations for the Cauchy completions corresponding to some particular class of axiomatic distances.
