Since 2004 part of the Wikimedia Movement as an editor (mostly German Wikipedia, as well as Commons & Wikidata).
Staff member of Wikimedia Deutschland in 2011 and from 2014 until 2020, mainly organizing the Wikimedia Conferences/Summits 2015–2020.

My work

From August 2020 until December 2022, I've worked at the Wikimedia Foundation as an Event Coordinator, as part of the Movement Strategy Transition Support Team (08/2020-03/2021) and Movement Strategy + Governance team (04/2021-12/2022). Mainly, I've organized many virtual events on Movement Strategy (e.g. Global Conversations events), and was involved in planing, organizing and executing the hybrid edition of the Wikimedia Summit 2022.
Since August 2024, I'm working at WMF (again), this time managing the community conference grant program supporting Chen Almog.
