Smart horse last year and looked really good when winning on his return to action at Chester in May, breaking the track record too. He could be Group 1 class and should be well up to winning this.
Brilliant season in 2023, winning the Derby at Epsom, Irish Derby at the Curragh, Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown and the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Santa Anita. Has two ways of running but got back to his best when winning the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot last time and will take beating again.

Well bred Lope De Vega filly who was fourth in a hot maiden on debut and built on that when landing a 6f Thirsk novice last time. She didn’t win by far but there should be plenty more to come and William Buick is an eyecatching booking.

Progressive horse, racking up a fifth victory of the year at Carlisle in July and has excuses at Beverley earlier this week. Interesting they are keen to turn him out so swiftly again.
Frustrating sort who has found winning difficult of late but he ran a cracker in second at Hamilton and should remain competitive from 2lb higher. Looks sure to be thereabouts.
Won back-to-back on the all-weather in February and remains in good form, only beaten by horse on the rise in the Buckingham Palace over course and distance at Royal Ascot. Should be in the mix.

True Legend finished second here in a decent handicap over 1m4f last term and almost returned to winning ways when a narrow second at Goodwood on his penultimate start. He was unlucky at Newcastle when last seen and deserves another chance off this mark.
Hill Street Blues was slow to get going on debut at York but made some progress to finish fourth in the closing stages. That form looks rock-solid and he can improve for that experience now that the penny has dropped.
Red Force One has been in excellent recent form and he completed his hat-trick at Newmarket last month. Phillip Kirby’s nine-year-old is up another 3lb here but he has won off higher marks in the past and can go in again here.
Love De Vega put in an excellent performance to win his first start over a mile impressively at Pontefract last week and he only carries a 5lb penalty here. That leaves him 2lb well in according to the handicapper and he’s likely to be in the mix once again.
