Teaching Our Sailors

Teaching our sailors

The Navy Museum is proud to support the Royal New Zealand Navy by delivering learning packages to sailors in basic training and promotions courses. At the Navy Museum sailors use critical thinking, collaborative group work, and creativity to make personal connections to Navy stories, heritage, and traditions. They share their work through speeches, mini-exhibitions and even short film.

The Navy is a constantly moving and shifting force, and the Navy today should be considered with an understanding of the past and a thought for the future.
