Alex Gould
Area Consulting Lead, Industry Services Delivery, ANZ
Appointed in August 2022, Alex is the Area Consulting Lead for our Industry Solutions Delivery team in Australia and New Zealand. Alex leads a team that is accountable for digitally transforming our largest customers across Commercial Enterprise and Public Sector.
Since joining Microsoft in 2019, Alex has led several teams across our consulting business, including Digital Advisory and Sales. During this time, Alex focused on the transformation of our professional services business, refining how and where consulting interacts, and helping customers realise the value of their cloud investments.
Previously, Alex was the Sales Director for BT Global Services Australasia where he was responsible for business development, go-to-market strategy and sales execution for their Global Services Business. Before BT, Alex spent 13 years with IBM holding various client-facing roles including sales and delivery.
Alex has a deep passion delivering on client outcomes and developing teams, motivated by the magic feeling of ‘all pulling together’. Based in Sydney, Alex holds a Master of Arts and International Relations from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New England.
