In recent years, we have supported record high numbers of early stage investigators (ESIs) designated on new (type 1) R01-equivalent awards. Today, we are pleased to share an update on the number of ESIs supported in FY 2023 with the addition of data on age.
On June 25, 2024, the modernized ClinicalTrials.gov will become the singular website experience. This major milestone is part of National Library of Medicine’s multi-year ClinicalTrials.gov modernization effort, which has been guided by stakeholder engagement, input from the NLM Board of Regents Public Service Working Group, and a user-centered design approach.
New eRA system capabilities now provide the ability for R&D contract vendors to directly submit inclusion data on their awarded contracts through the Human Subjects System (HSS), accessible through the eRA Commons, when requested by NIH staff.
