These are highlights from the Training of Trainers (TOT) of participating partners and field activities conducted across the BAY States. This initiative was part of the United Nations OCHA yearly Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment (MSNA) tagged Sectoral Needs and Risk Assessment (SNRA) 2024, led by Fact Foundation. The assessment plays a crucial role in informing the Humanitarian Programming Cycle (HPC), including the Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) and Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) 2025. The FACT team provided robust, evidence-based insights into the multi-sectoral humanitarian needs and living conditions of conflict-affected populations in North East Nigeria, encompassing internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and non-displaced communities. Fact and participating partners in the BAY States contributed in providing a comprehensive overview of humanitarian needs and coping capacities across different geographical locations and population groups. These collective efforts contribute to more effective strategic planning and prioritization in humanitarian responses.

The FCDO-funded HARP-TPM project is centered in the BAY states of Northeast Nigeria. The HARP-TPM project aims to ensure the effective delivery of humanitarian aid in conflict-affected areas. It involves independent third-party monitoring, data collection, and analysis to assess the impact of FCDO-funded humanitarian projects. The project promotes transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making while also building local capacity for ongoing monitoring and evaluation. As a consortium partner and operational lead alongside Clear Global and Impact Initiative, FACT plays a crucial role in this project. FACT's primary focus is on precise data collection across the BAY states. FACT successfully facilitated the first round of data collection, contributing to the project's overall objectives. The images below capture the recently concluded step-down training and field activities of the HARP-TPM project.
