2 Dead In Brooklyn Following Weekend Mayhem, No Arrest So Far: NYPD

The two incidents in Bed-Stuy and Kensington happened on Sunday, June 16, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot and the body of a 27-year-old woman was found in separate incidents in Brooklyn this past weekend, police said.

The first incident happened around 5:05 a.m. on Sunday inside 175 Minna Street in Kensington, police said.
Officers found a 27-year-old woman unresponsive with trauma to her body. EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The city's medical examiner will determine the woman's cause of death.

The fatal shooting happened around 11:o6 p.m. Sunday at 254 Ralph Avenue in Bed-Stuy, police said.

Officers responding to the scene found the 32-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

The victim —identified as Tyreek Ogarro — was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There have been no arrests in both incidents, and an investigation remains ongoing.
