In my world, summer is synonymous with skort season — and it seems the same goes for Jennifer Lawrence. 

The No Hard Feelings actress recently stepped out in what appeared to be a black skort while grabbing lunch in New York City on June 17. While it’s hard to tell whether or not her mini had built-in shorts for certain, it wouldn’t be surprising, seeing as Lawrence has never been one to shy away from a functional fashion find — and there’s no better way to combat thigh chafing and unexpected breeze than with a practical skort.

While I would think to pair the versatile bottoms with a matching black tank top, the 33-year-old proved why she’ll forever be the blueprint by styling her skirt with an edgy Mickey Mouse graphic T-shirt, socks, and loafers, and a lightweight denim button-up to make for an outfit that’s as cute as it is comfortable.
