Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams Have High-Fashion Dawson's Creek Reunion at Chanel Event in N.Y.C.

Dawson's Creek fans can rest easy tonight, because Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams didn't wait for their lives to be over for this very high-fashion reunion.

At Wednesday night's Chanel flagship opening party in New York City, Holmes and Williams both wore their best coordinated Chanel looks for the high-fashion event. While inside the new store, they posed for a photo together, sending fans back to the late '90s and early 2000s when they starred together on Dawson's Creek as Jen and Joey.

Holmes wore a pantsuit set designed by the luxury brand that offered a glimpse of her midsection thanks to the one-button detail of her cardigan. She posed in the deep-V-neck top that she wore over a black lace bralette that took her look up a notch. 

For the grand opening of Chanel's new jewelry flagship, Holmes appropriately dazzled photographers with her many jewels, including a silver drop necklace that perfectly complemented the deep dip in her sweater.

She carried a black Chanel handbag, and to offset the dark tones, the actress wore a pop of color with her sultry red lips. Holmes’ hair was styled in a braided low ponytail with side-swept bangs.

Williams opted for a buttoned-up minidress in the fashion house's classic plaid. The long-sleeve number featured Chanel's signature buttons down the front and she accessorized with a multicored bag. To protect herself from the cold, she dressed her look up a bit with black tights and wore black heels.

She wore her trademark icy blonde hair in a sleek pixie cut and glammed up her look with diamond earrings. For glam, she rocked a mauve lip and rosy cheeks.

Other stars like Kerry Washington, Elizabeth Olsen, Sadie Sink and America Ferrera were also on hand to celebrate Chanel's 5th Avenue store opening. The new store, which will focus on the fashion house's high jewelry and watches, is set to open on Feb. 9.
