this year while we all celebrate pride month and celebrate ourselves as well as those who came before us and paved the way for us to do so, we must also think of those in gaza, queer or not, who live every day under a brutal occupation and don’t have that same privilege. happy pride, and may we see a free palestine in this lifetime.
I'm writing this post to bring attention to the GFM campaign of @nor-famaily, a mother of five in Gaza.
Last week, Nour came very close to dying. She was out getting food for her family when a building close to their tent was bombed. Because of the injuries Nour suffered, she now has to rely more on her children, the oldest being only 13, to secure water and food for the family's survival.

The occupation has published evacuation orders for the area adjacent to us in preparation for its bombing, which is likely to reach us. This bombing and destruction may reach us at any possible moment, and we are now in great fear. What will happen to us? My children have chicken pox, which has spread in Gaza and caused them to have high temperatures due to the lack of cleaning materials and the inability to purchase them due to their high price. And can I just say, as someone who also had black mold in the walls of my house that was making me deathly ill and affecting my mental health, I'm really not enjoying the connotations that breathing in black mold spores make you a racist transphobe.
Like I'm just saying. There's off your rocker because you're becoming Patient Zero and then there are the life choices and decisions she has chosen to make because she's a bigot.
