Query service is running now and should be functional as far as I can tell. But I suppose the setup should be documented somewhere so the next admin on the system doesn’t have to find it by trial and error. (Also because my own memory is super unreliable.)

Now documented at FactGrid:Setup. (And, case in point – I already didn’t remember the exact procedure to update the query service UI and had to figure it out again.)
