Hey all -- I'm helping Nat to get access to Superset, in particular dashboards/charts that do require private data access per https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Analytics/Data_access#What_access_should_I_request?

I think that means the ssh key is not necessary (and perhaps other aspects?) but obviously I defer to whoever picks up the ticket. And @NHillard-WMF if you think it'd be valuable to have broader server access, by all means feel free to expand the request and follow the instructions here: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/SRE/Production_access#Access_Request_Process

I'll note as well that we need the same access for Maryana Pinchuk (User:Maryana; [email protected]). If this can be done on this same ticket, please do. Otherwise I'll happily file a second ticket.

Hi @Isaac:

The link you shared is correct and no SSH keys are required. We will wait for @NHillard-WMF to confirm if he requires more access, otherwise this ticket itself is sufficient for SRE.

As for Maryana's access, we typically request a separate ticket, simply because it helps us to manage requests more effectively and also because the clinic duty SRE person changes every week. (For example, I am not on clinic duty this week but covering for a colleague who is on PTO.)

Let me know if there are any other questions in the meantime.

@NHillard-WMF This request requires your manager's approval, @SCherukuwada if my information is up to date, as well as approval from @odimitrijevic or @Milimetric. Without this we won't be able to move forward with this request.
