I have issues on every android device I use. The issue is usually with the initial connection. It seems like a 50/50 shot that it'll connect wirelessly every time I start one of my vehicles. It will attempt to connect every time but about half the time, it just never connects. Once it does connect, it works really well. If they can iron out the connection issues I'd recommend Android Auto to everyone who has a vehicle.

Pretty good for my audio and Google Maps. Controls can be a bit clunky. Occasionally, I have to turn off my car and turn it back on to boot the App. Several months later...I have a new phone (Pixel 8 Pro), and the app, phone, and car synch better. Still have to unplug and replug the phone to the USBC cable sometimes when it loses the signal, but all in all, a good experience.

Android Auto needs the option to have a chime or a sound that users can select from when on a call. We all have been in the car and have received a phone call when using Android Auto. Once you're on a phone call, you no longer receive any prompts. A background chime allows the driver to safely recognize when the next turn is coming. Not having this option forces you to continuously look at the map, which is not safe.
