Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are total opposites with an unbreakable bond since meeting on the hit sitcom “Cheers.” But after that show wrapped, life took them in different directions. This podcast is a chance to reconnect, both with each other and the amazing friends they’ve each met over the decades—that is, when Ted can get a hold of Woody! Join them as they dig beyond the career highlights and into the stuff of life that makes us who we are. Like the title says, this is a place to be known.

Lisa Kudrow
Like many of us, Ted Danson had never seen anyone like Lisa Kudrow when she first burst onto the scene. He asks her about her memorable appearance on Cheers, navigating Friends fame, being a trailblazer for quirky people, and how evolutionary biology was actually her first love before acting and comedy. Bonus: Ted reveals his early struggles playing Sam Malone on Cheers.

Laura Dern
Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson are feeling the Dern! Their good friend Laura Dern is here, and the guys are talking to her about how she fell in love with acting as a child, writing a book with her mom, the time a panicked Woody wanted to dial her for acting advice, and how she and her mom made history with their respective Oscar nominations (and losses). Bonus: Laura’s masterclass in deflecting a compliment.

Eric Andre
Ted Danson is a little nervous about being pranked as he sits down with the uniquely talented actor and comedian Eric Andre. Eric is the mastermind behind riotous and absurd projects such as Bad Trip and The Eric Andre Show, and Ted is curious to know what goes on in that head of his. They discuss the humanity that runs throughout Eric’s work as well as his journey of dealing with anxiety and personal loss. Bonus: Eric asks Ted how he got into acting.

Martin Short
Ted Danson goes solo today as he’s joined by the formidable Martin Short! They talk about Martin’s experience of loss at a young age, his Canadian upbringing, his SNL tenure, and what it was like working with some of the funniest people in the world, including Larry David. Love This Podcast!
Saw a clip of the episode with Jane Fonda and I had to check this podcast out. Love all three of these people separately and loved them even more together hearing them talk about some of the things they did. I cannot wait to listen to the rest of the episodes and see who will show up in the future!!! Did not know this was something I was waiting for - give it a listen 🎧
Laurel Wild
