Theo is a young man who has lost touch with his feelings due to a past trauma. By contrast, Chloe is bursting with natural energy, her eyes and smile as bright as the 'dermajoule' on her wrist. While Theo is calibrating Chloe's dermajoule - the energy-monitoring wristband which shows the charge being generated by both positive and negative emotions - his interaction with this vivacious new colleague is somehow forcing him to confront his locked up emotions.
