Investigators discover Hervé Carpentier owned a stable where injured horses recover and one of them, Othello, has disappeared. Othello belonged to a pharmaceutical laboratory, in the research of new vaccines, but ended up inexplicably in the possession of Cissy, Carpentier's daughter.
