Hello,,
My name is Ashraf Alanqar, and I am 30 years old. My wife, Widad Issa, and I have a one-and-a-half-year-old son named Bakr. We used to live peacefully in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, in a house we built just a week before the war began. I worked as a farmer and owned a large chicken farm that provided for my family.
Beloved of my heart (Bakr)
Then the war came and destroyed everything. Our home was reduced to ashes, and our chicken farm was obliterated. We lost our home, our livelihood, and even our basic rights. We've been forced to move from place to place in northern Gaza, simply trying to survive.
My House before...
Me.. while trying to recognize what has happened..
The terror we feel as we flee from heavy bombardment is unbearable. The sound of explosions around us, the constant fear as we navigate through the rubble of destroyed homes searching for safety and food, haunts us every day. My son Bakr is constantly scared and suffers from severe malnutrition and skin diseases due to the lack of food, water, and sanitation.
Our beautiful memories.. :(
We urgently need your help. I am asking for your support to fund this campaign to move my family to a safe place, provide us with a proper home, and ensure we have enough food, water, and medical care.
Baker used to play with his dog.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in our lives. We desperately need your support and solidarity during this difficult time. Together, we can restore hope and safety to Ashraf and his family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering my plea. Your support means more than words can express. Together, we can turn a story of loss into a journey of hope and resilience.
With deepest gratitude,
Ashraf & the Family
Urgent: Important Title, Don't Miss It 💢‼️
I am Ruba from northern Gaza. I had a campaign on GoFundMe, but unfortunately, due to their complex policies, my account was suspended and the funds were blocked. We have been living under genocide for the past 10 months, which has completely exhausted our bodies. Every day, we witness massacres and genocide, and the situation has been catastrophic since the war started on October 7. Since that day, our lives have been in disarray, we have been displaced from place to place, and the war has killed everything beautiful inside me and my family.
My father lost his entire livelihood, and for the past 10 months, he has been out of work, leaving us with no source of income. Life has worn us down, and now life has become very difficult for us.
The price of a tent is $500, and the cost of food, water, my father's medical treatment, and charging our phones to stay informed amounts to $500 per day. Everything is extremely expensive. I hope you can support me and stand by my side to save our lives from this war and famine.
DONATION LINK
I hope you can compensate me for the money I lost from my GoFundMe campaign. Don't hesitate to donate to me. Your donation brings safety and hope to my life and my family.🚨‼️
❤♥️ Save a Gazan family ♥️❤
@amalashuor, her husband, and their baby girl Maryam are constantly on my mind.
Amal, who was still a student when the attack on Gaza interrupted her pursuit of a Master's degree, has had to evacuate time and time again, seeking shelter for her family.
Every time she asks "why isn't my campaign making progress? Who can I speak to to get help?" I feel like I've failed her. Her campaign, which has a very reachable goal, has been stagnating.
We don't know how many opportunities they will to cross the border. We can't take chances. Time is of the essence. If the time comes and the border opens and they haven't reached their goal yet, I don't know what I'll do. They cannot separate, so they must have enough to evacuate all three of them.
Please, please donate, and if you can't, share as far as you can , as urgently as possible.
Let's get them safe. ❤
Thank you, my friend, for this contribution ❤️
Urgent 🆘️ call: 🚨🍉

A simple matter = a human life..🤍
I have a beautiful family consisting of a wife and five beautiful children.
So I hold on to patience and faith, and I pray to God to inspire us with the strength to overcome this harsh experience, in this turbulent world.
Be the reason for our survival.. Support us and protect our lives.
We have the opportunity to travel , but the obstacle is the travel costs. Help us collect them.
There is talk of opening the crossing. Quickly, help us collect the travel costs. Have mercy on us from this homelessness and loss.
Your donation = our stability
Can you give me a gift? 🎁🎉🎊

The Story of Salahaldin Ahmad Khalil Hor and His Family: A Journey of Struggle and Hope
Hello everyone
I am Salahaldin Ahmad Khalil Hor, 38 years old, and a father of three daughters. My life and the lives of my family have changed drastically because of the war, and I am writing to you today hoping for your support and assistance during this difficult time.
My Family
My family consists of five members: my wife, Sundus (34 years old), and my daughters, Maria (10 years old), Farah (8 years old), and Maryam (3 years old). We used to live a simple life filled with hope and ambition.
The Beginning of the Crisis
When the war broke out, we had to leave our home in the north. The family was split, with half of us staying in the north, suffering from famine and displacement, while the other half moved to the south. But even in the south, we were not safe. The house we sought refuge in was bombed, and Maria and Maryam were injured by shrapnel.
Daily Challenges
I studied accounting and obtained a master's degree in accounting and finance, aiming to advance my career and achieve my personal aspirations. However, the war prevented me from completing my thesis and destroyed my dreams of development. Our home was completely destroyed due to this brutal war. I lived in Belgium for six months, but I chose to return voluntarily to be with my daughters and not leave them alone in this ordeal.
hope and Prayer
Now, I am searching for a shelter for my family and me. My greatest wish is to reunite with my daughters and wife and start a new life together. We seek your help to overcome this ordeal and return to our normal lives. We need your support to provide medical care for our family members, continue our education, and build a better future.
A Call to Humanity
Please, I need to raise the necessary funds to leave the country and save my small family. Your support will be the hope we need to start anew, far from war and destruction. Any help you can offer, whether financial or moral, will make a significant difference in our lives. We ask you to share our story and help us raise the funds needed to evacuate to a safe place and find peace.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for any support you provide. We will never forget your kindness and generosity in these difficult times.
Thank you,
Salahaldin Ahmad Khalil Hor

I am Intisar from Gaza, a mother of 7 children. My house was destroyed in Gaza and I was displaced to many places, and now in Rafah, even the necessities of life are missing. Water and food have become our greatest concern.
We lost all our dreams and ambitions. We are looking for a place to house only our bodies
I don't know where to go or how to live, especially since I am the sole breadwinner for my children
Help me and them get out of Gaza and start again

🤍This is a signal boost for Fadi Ayyad and his family!🤍
My name is Fadi A. Ayyad, an 18-year old son of an extended Palestinian family from Northern Gaza, specifically from Al-Shujaiya , the most devastated area where the horrific war is now taking place.
Folks, meet Fadi: a displaced student living with his family in Gaza. Before their lives were uprooted, his father worked as a well-known English teacher, and his brothers were attending university studying toward their own degrees. Now, everything they once knew has been lost. They are exhausted; their daily lives are marked by struggle and fear.
They hope to evacuate their family of eight out of Gaza; so far, they have raised $24,382 USD raised of their $35,000 goal to do so.
Can you help them? Donate here!
In Fadi's own words:
I don’t want my dreams and ambitions to disappear. My only chance to realize such dreams is to leave Gaza as soon as possible to join the ongoing intensive classes offered for the Palestinian students who flee the war in Egypt. My dream will come true with your help. My older brothers have also lost their education at university and seemingly the war will kill everything we have been trying to build over years. It seems that our dreams and hopes will be a thing of the past.
Your donation will help secure this family's dreams, ensure their safety, and help them reclaim some of the life which was stolen from them.
If you cannot donate at this time, please follow Fadi at @aymanayyad82 (prev. aymanayyad81), share his posts, and read more of this family's story on their GFM page.
Any donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
I was just talking to Ahmed @90-ghost (alongside Av, who might be reading this, idk if they’d like to be part of this post tho). He has given me permission to write a post about our conversation.
This whole thing has gotten Ahmed to the point where he admits he’s started to hate tumblr after 12 years of being on here. He has over 3k messages in his inbox and can’t handle it right now, his brother and other family members are still in Gaza and he himself doesn’t have the money to help them out. I’ve noticed that donations have slowed among palestinian fundraisers in general, before this whole debacle that a few individuals on this site started. this is anecdotal, but I know Ahmed gets like $30-$50 per week in donations at this point, and that barely makes a dent in his and his family’s needs. Remember that people in Gaza need to pay massively inflated prices for what basic necessities are available right now. I think things are looking pretty dire to the people who would like to flee Gaza but don’t have the money. It already was dire that Egyptian government, working in lockstep with Israel and the west, charges $5k+ to Ghazzawis. Hala Agency, Ibrahim Al-Argani, and the other scumbags running the Egyptian state are all demons and they’ve lined their pockets throughout this genocide. But I digress—it was dire already and now the enthusiastic aid that helped people like Ahmed seems to have run dry.
All that is to say: Ahmed can’t continue to verify peoples’ documents or promote their fundraisers at this stage. He’s privately talked to hundreds of Ghazzawis and looked at their IDs, and he was the only person doing it for a while (a very small handful of other Palestinian users on here were doing it, but they’ve also gotten overwhelmed and stopped). When he was in Gaza, Ahmed was displaced multiple times, left sleeping in tents or on the streets while in active physical danger, starving, forced to drink unsafe water, and often sick. It’s not an exaggeration to say that his body and mind have been pushed to the limit. When he told me he’s depressed all day after doing this work while attracting a ton of negativity, I told him he’s allowed to stop for the sake of his own health, because frankly he needs to focus on his physical recovery. There’s nothing selfish about that, it’s not sustainable for him to be doing this, particularly not when he’s still under the immense stress of his brother and other relatives remaining in Gaza and relying on him for help.
Since I know people will ask: I currently don’t know of anyone on tumblr who still vets fundraisers. Everyone I know of who did has had to stop. I don’t know about the inner workings of Operation Olive Branch, but they seem to be one of a few collectives with enough members to distribute this work. It IS work, and those of us who have tried to do it have done so with a low failure rate (el-shab-hussein and nabulsi’s spreadsheet had over 200 entries and they misidentified a scam as legitimate ONCE). I hope everyone will be more considerate towards the people at collectives like OOB.
This has always been a matter of personal discretion. The vetting process some users tried to implement on here is meant to help people who want to help and accept the risk of offering aid to strangers. If you don’t trust bloggers who’ve been proudly Palestinian on this site for years, that’s up to you—genuinely, it’s fair to think “I don’t know this person and I don’t know what standards they’re operating on.” In the future, anyone who has such concerns should consider asking good-faith questions to the people involved and to converse with them like adults before jumping to accusations, conspiratorial posts, etc.

there are resources beyond those on tumblr for people to find campaigns to contribute to-- here's a list of several grassroot orgs i've come across. i'm sure there's more out there. what y'all do with this information is up to you
el-shab-hussein + nabulsi's google sheet
about us: Operation Olive Branch is a volunteer-powered grassroots collective committed to the collective liberation of ALL peoples. We connect with and amplify families and mutuals and orgs in an effort to support their critical needs, which include but are not limited to their mutual aid requests. This global solidarity initiative is steered by a diverse core council of advocates from occupied Turtle Island which include Palestinian activists, the Jewish grandchild of a holocaust survivor, and everyone else in between.
about us: Gaza Funds is a project that connects people to crowdfunding campaigns for individuals and families from Gaza. We are a global team of (mostly) Arab and Palestinian engineers, students, writers, and academics working to help get exposure and traction to fundraisers created for people in Gaza, Palestine. We are not an organization or a charity. We do not create fundraisers and we do not collect money on behalf of them. Our work on this project is completely voluntary. We created this site as a way to give others quick access to these fundraisers for informational purposes only.

So, here we are. Operation Watermelon is my way of merging my passion with purpose, creating items that not only tell a story but also contribute to a cause close to my heart. It's about doing what we can, with what we have, wherever we are in the world. Hey guys, some deeply troubling news from my friend Ruba Shaban @rubashabansblog so please pay attention!
I have shared her gfm before, and if her name sounds extra familiar to you it may be because you recognize her name from a post i made that went viral, with a list of a few palestinian bloggers who'd had their accounts deleted by tumblr repeatedly at a crucial time. She was one of the people who was affected, and she helped me compile the list of other users whose blogs were also deleted, so that you could also extend the same solidarity you showed her during a a truly difficult time.
The entire time I've known her, she has actively been helping her fellow palestinians even while she had to worry about her own fundraising effort, coordinating closely with users outside of palestine so she could help them when her friends had troubles with gfm or tumblr. I am grateful to know her to the limited extent that i do, and to know that there are kind people like her who exist in this world.
Unfortunately, despite all her efforts, GFM has blocked her from accessing her hard-earned money. While her gfm may still be up and active, they have not allowed her to access the funds that were rightfully hers, citing some complex policy violation- though a friend @aces-and-angels (who had helped her correspond with gfm reps) has commented before that these "complex policies" only seem to become relevant when its a fundraiser organized by someone in gaza :/
This means that ruba no longer has access to the entire 30k she had managed to raise for months.
She is not the only one this has happened to, either. Already donors have begun to recieve their refunds, and soon all the money they earned will be lost. They will all have to start from scratch.
Ruba has been raising all this money to evacuate her family, including her father who is critically ill. They are living out of tents under the constant threat of violence, illness and starvation and have been displaced multiple times.
I cannot imagine what a crushing loss this is, that too at such a crucial time.
So please, if you see that post floating around still, do NOT donate to her gfm anymore. She has asked me to share with you all her new fundraiser instead:
She has only gotten €85.00 out of €50,000.00 goal
Her account was vetted by @/nabulsi and appears on their spreadsheet of vetted fundraisers so please dont hesitate to share and donate, please show her your support during this horrible time.
