Communal Meal Education

The University of Macau encourages students to have regular exchanges with academic staff members through having meals together in RC dining hall. To implement the communal meal participation education of “living together and eating together,” the university has provided a fixed amount of “Communal Meal Participation”  (CMP)  Subsidy for RC students to use in their assigned RC’s dining hall, to meet the requirements and expectations of communal meal participation education. Students can use the CMP subsidy to pay for meals in their assigned RC dining hall. If the meal cost exceeds the subsidy amount, students pay for the difference directly to the dining hall service provider.

Note: The CMP subsidy is an educational subsidy, and the RC accommodation fee does not include daily meal expenses or other expenses. The RC accommodation fee and the CMP subsidy arrangement are subject to reviews and changes. For more information on RC education or CMP, please visit the website: Communal Meal Education
