I Am Roses + Conie Fong Bear with Heart

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm back today with my latest project for I Am Roses featuring this adorable Bear with Heart from Conie Fong. This image is featured on the Draw With Conie YouTube Channel, where Conie walks you step-by-step on how to draw this cutie for yourself! I love the versatility of this bear image because it can be used for so many different occasions. Since Mother's Day is right around the corner, I colored up the heart in pink and handwrote Happy Mother's Day.

I used some soft vintage paper in my stash, and of course added I Am Roses flowers on two of the corners. The large flowers are the R43 Peony, followed by white cherry blossoms, S10m small pink flowers, and small green leaves.

The Greeting Farm February 2024 Stamp Feature Day 2: BIRTHDAY BEARS

Happy Wednesday friends! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the February 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

At The Greeting Farm, nothing is better than receiving birthday wishes from adorable, chubby bears! It's a beary awesome party! BIRTHDAY BEARS comes with two bear images, 2 sentiments, and 3 accessory stamps. I used some Jaded Blossom Dies to create a background scene that would fit both bear images.

I raised the grassy knoll, tree trunk, and both bear images on foam tape for extra dimension. The sentiment is part of the stamp set.

Conie Fong: GOODNIGHT BENJI

Happy Saturday friends! Today, I'm sharing a card using one of Conie Fong's newest digital images called Goodnight Benji. I absolutely LOVE bears and the ones Conie creates are so sweet and adorable! The great thing about this image is that is can be used for both boy and girl cards.

 I created the night sky for this image using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink, Nocturne Versafine Clair Ink, and a white gel pen on watercolor paper. My friend Jennifer Rustioni is an amazing colorist and also does these fabulous inky backgrounds for her images. I love the halo look she achieves so I gave it a try. I need to practice a little more on the twinkle stars, but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out.

 I did print the image on Xpress It Blending Card and fussy cut it out to glue to the sky panel because I like to color my images using Copic markers. One day I'll try watercoloring, but that's definitely going to take lots of practice, LOL!

Jaded Blossom: BEARY SWEET

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. My amazing nephew, Tyler, started his first year of college at the University of Kansas so I'm putting together a care package for him. I wanted to make this bag of gummy bears special so I created a bag topper.

I used the bears from the Beary Sweet Stamp Set along with the Outline Dies. I stamped the outline of the bears in black. Next, I stamped the bear shadow using Versamark Embossing Ink and rubbed a darker chalk over the ink. This gave me a subtle shadow for each bear. I decided to put the sentiment from Love You Beary Much Stamp Set in the handle area so I could fit the bears along the bottom in a row.

 

 

I wanted my bag topper to coordinate with the Haribo Goldbears packaging so I used red and gold cardstock with the XL Topper Die. This die is one of my faves because it works perfectly with the snack bag size.

 Today, we are showcasing the Beary Sweet and Love You Beary Much Stamp Sets. If there was ever a stamp set you needed in your collection, the Beary Sweet set is a must-have! It is so versatile! For the two birthday cards, I stamped the outline of the bear on patterned papers without the shadow stamp. I used the outline die to cut them out, and raised them on foam tape. To create the border at the top, I took the same paper and cut a scallop border using Border Dies 2.

I kept the next two cards clean and simple. For these two bears I stamped the outline and shadow part of the bear on patterned paper. I adhered the bears to an A2 card base using foam tape.

**Remember, this is just a general guideline. Your card does not need to be girly. If you do a masculine theme, you could replace the ribbon/bow with a strip of cardstock or twine. The flowers can always be some other kind of embellishment like buttons or left off completely. It's totally up to your interpretation and creative style.

I love bears and this one in the Pandas Are Awesome Stamp Set is so sweet and adorable! I colored the scene with Copics, and framed him using Square Internal Scallop Dies 1. 

 

 The beautiful green/gold paper is Japanese washi paper that was gifted to me by one of my friends. I'm finally putting it to use, LOL! The flowers are from I Am Roses. I found the awesome black/gold ribbon at Walmart.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong Bella

 Happy Sunday everyone! Today, I am showcasing a Patriotic card featuring the gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses flowers with a sweet bear digi called Bella from Conie Fong. I love the digital images from Conie because they are so versatile just by changing the colors. This bear was perfect in red and blue for the upcoming holiday.

I used some awesome paper from Doodlebug Design Land That I Love 6x6 Paper Pad. To finish off the card, I added flowers in the corner.
