Christoph Bauer is currently working as a postdoc at the University for Continuing Education. In 2019, he successfully graduated with a PhD, studying “Regenerative Medicine” at the University for Continuing Education Krems after finishing his Master of Science in the field of “Bioanalytics and Bioanalysis” at the Technical University Vienna. Since 2009, he has been working on osteoarthritis treatment, cartilage regeneration, and tissue engineering, as well as biotribology. His current research focuses on metal and ceramic implants and 3D bioprinting. Mr. Bauer is also a member of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) and the International Cartilage Repair and Joint Preservation Society (ICRS).
