Renato B. Pereira was awarded his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences—Phytochemistry and Pharmacognosy Speciality (2019)—from the University of Porto, Faculty of Pharmacy (UPFP). His research interests focus on natural product chemistry and the assessment of their biological properties, with special emphasis on anti-inflammatory activity. He is active in his scientific community, being a member of the Portuguese Chemical Society. He is currently a post-doc at the REQUIMTE Associated laboratory/University of Porto, Faculty of Pharmacy.
