He graduated in Medicine and carried out his residency in Infectious Diseases, with a Master's and Ph.D. in Immunology from São Paulo University. He is a Professor of Medicine in Oeste Paulista University, Presidente Prudente, São Paulo and in the post-graduation programs of Health Science and Environment and Regional Developing, at Unoeste. He is the head of the Imnunodeficiency outpatient clinic of the Regional Hospital of Presidente Prudente. He works in projects on dengue, leishmaniais, HIV, viral hepatitis, and primary and secondary immunodeficiencies.
