D.Sc. by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – Brasil (2002), Post Doc. In Applied Mathematics (2003) and Associate Researcher at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics – IMPA – Brazil (2007). From 2008, he is a Research Professor at National University of Asuncion – Paraguay. He has scientific research articles mainly in simulation and control of large systems, domain decomposition and differential equations, and conservation laws for porous media (oil and biology). At the moment, he is currently the director of the Núcleo de Investigación y Desarrollo Tecnológico – NIDTEC and the Applied and Scientific Computing Laboratory at the Polytechnic school, and President of the Paraguayan Mathematical Society (SMP), and Vice-President of the Pam-American Association for Computational Interdisciplinary Sciences. He has been awarded by the Metallurgical Engineering Center for his contribution to the industry.
