Abanoub Riad is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. He also works as a senior researcher at the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic (IHIS-CR). Dr Riad has a clinical background as a dentist (DDS - 2016) and a specialisation in hygiene, preventive medicine and epidemiology (PhD - 2022). His research interests include clinical epidemiology, global health, health psychology, dental public health, vaccine hesitancy, and infectious diseases.
