Valerio Biancalana graduated in Physics (laser–plasma interaction) from the University of Pisa and also received some CNR grants. From 1993–1997, he taught math and physics in a public secondary school. From 1997–2005, he was a Researcher at Siena University, specializing in atomic physics and experimental physics. Presently, since 2005, he is an Associate Professor at Siena University.
