Prof. Dr. Fuat H.
Saner previously held the position of Senior Lecturer in the Department
of General, Visceral, and Transplant Surgery at the University Hospital
Essen in Essen, Germany. Specializing in Critical Care, he has been
recognized with the title of Professor. In January, he transitioned to a
new role at the Organ Transplant Center of Excellence at the King
Faisal Specialized Hospital & Research Center in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia. His research primarily focuses on several critical areas in the
context of End-stage Liver Disease (ESLD) both before and after
transplantation. These include the management of coagulation, the timing
of dialysis, infection control, and hemodynamic stabilization.
