DR. MUHAMMAD SAJID, AUTHOR was born in a village of Punjab, Pakistan. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2008 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2020.
From 2009 to 2013, he served the chemical process industry as a design engineer in a fertilizer complex. From 2014 to 2017, he was a Lecturer of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Since 2020, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Yibin University, Yibin Sichuan Pakistan. He is the author of three book chapters with numerous research articles. His research interests include an advanced catalytic process for the production of platform biochemicals from biomass-derived sugars.
