Wenzhu Jiang is a Professor at the College of Plant Science, Jilin University. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Yanbian University in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. from Seoul National University in 2005. He held a postdoctoral role at Seoul National University (2005–2010), served as a lecturer (2010) and an associate professor (2010–2019) at Jilin University, and was promoted to professor in 2019. His main interests include mining and functional research of favourable genes in rice and molecular breeding.
