Xuesong Wang received a Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Technology from the China
University of Mining and Technology in 2002. She is currently the Dean of the Engineering Research
Center of Intelligent Control for Underground Space, Ministry of Education, the Dean of Xuzhou Key
Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, as well as a professor with the School of Information and
Control Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology. Her main research interests include
reinforcement learning, machine learning, and pattern recognition. Currently, she is the associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, Acta Automatica Sinica, and Acta Electronica Sinica.
