Hue Thi Kim Vu is a researcher at the Department of Veterinary Hygiene and Food Safety, National Institute of Veterinary Research (NIVR), Vietnam. She obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Vietnam, in 2010. She completed her doctorate degree in 2018 at the Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Her thesis topic was “The diversity of Listeria prophages from foods and food processing plant environments—the relationship among Listeria spp. and Listeria prophages”. Her research interests are primarily focused on veterinary hygiene, food microbiology, food safety, antimicrobial resistance, and diversity and biocontrol of bacteriophages against several foodborne pathogens, such as Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, E. coli, and S. aureus contaminated in foods and food processing environments. Hue received an outstanding doctoral award in Biological Sciences in 2019 at the Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
