Dr. Elena Silvia Bernad is an associate professor at
"Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timisoara
(UMFVBT), Romania, where she has been coordinating educational and research
activities. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at UMFVBT. She obtained
a PhD degree in medical science and continued with her university career. She
completed her studies with two master's courses in Health Management and
Embryology and Teratology. She currently works as a senior physician with
expertise in obstetric and gynecological ultrasonography, laparoscopy,
colposcopy, hysteroscopy, maternal-fetal medicine, and reproductive medicine,
at "Pius Brinzeu" Emergency County Hospital Timisoara, Romania,
where, over the years, she coordinated the administrative activity of several
departments. She is a member of many national and international professional
societies. She is the Guest Editor of more Special Issues in MDPI. Her research
interests mainly focus on gynecology; obstetrics; gynecological oncology; genetics;
endocrinology and reproductive medicine; ethics; medical education; research
design, epidemiology, and statistics; and computer applications.
