Prof Dr Juan Luis Muñoz Bellido is currently a Professor
of Clinical Microbiology at the Hospital Universitario de Salamanca, Salamanca,
Spain. He completed his Ph.D. studies at the University of Salamanca in 1988.
In 2017, he obtained the “María de Maeztu” Award for Academic Excellence from
Universidad de Salamanca. He is a member of the European Society of Clinical
Microbiology & Infectious Diseases, the Spanish Society of Chemotherapy,
the American Society of Microbiology, and the Spanish Society of Clinical
Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
