I received the M.Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in physics from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland in 2007 and 2012, respectively. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics, Lukasiewicz Research Network, Warsaw, Poland and assistant professor with the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology. I am a co-author of about 27 articles published in pre-reviewed journals. My research include photonic optical fibers, nonlinear effects, fiber short- and long-period gratings and sensors.
