Paulina Haro has been a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine since 2003, and she is part of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. She has a Master’s degree in Veterinary Science (2007) and Diagnostic Techniques in Veterinary Medicine (2009) from the same university. She received a Ph.D. in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia from the Universidad de Murcia Spain (2013). Previously, she has worked as a Cathedra's Researcher of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) Mexico (2014-2020). Her research interests lie in diagnostic imaging and the study of zoonotic disease pathophysiology. Specifically, she works towards understanding Chagas disease pathophysiology. She is a member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico.
