Zhang Donghui is a senior engineer at the Institute of Remote Sensing Satellite, China Academy of Space Technology. He is the Second Member of the China Remote Sensing Committee. He has been engaged in scientific research related to satellite, airborne, and ground remote sensing technology for a long time. He has mastered relevant core technologies in software and hardware research and development.
He has presided over six channel projects, including those commissioned by the National Defense Bureau of Science, Technology, and Industry; the Ministry of Equipment Development; and the China Geological Survey. He has also published 3 monographs, 12 SCI papers, 7 EI papers, and 28 Chinese core papers. Additionally, he possesses 1 international PCT patent, 11 invention patents, and 1 software copyright. He presided over several national defense and civil scientific research projects, receiving research funds of 8.2 million. He won the Youth Innovation Fund Paper Award, the Second Prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award, and many academic innovation awards awarded by other units at the 6th High Resolution Earth Observation Academic Annual Conference.
