Dr. Alexandre Lamas is a full-time assistant professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology, at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He obtained a Ph.D. in innovation in food safety technologies from the same university in 2019. His research focuses on the study of foodborne pathogens, especially Salmonella, new control methods, the study of food microbiota, and more recently the study of foodborne pathogenic bacteriophages.
