Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, assigned to the Institute of Agrarian and Environmental Sciences of the University Campus of Sinop since January 2010. He holds a PhD (2012) and master's (2009) in Agronomy (Irrigation and Drainage) from FCA / UNESP and a degree in Agricultural Engineering (2007) from UFRRJ. He develops research projects in environmental sciences and agricultural sciences, involving the subareas of agrometeorology, plant bioclimatology, water resources, and water and soil conservation. He is accredited as a permanent professor on the graduate programs in Environmental Physics (PPGFA) and Environmental Sciences (PPGCAM). He acts as leader of the Research Groups "Environment and Plant Interactions" and "Water Resources Technologies in the Midwest" at DGP / CNPq.
