Jin Young Kim received the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Seoul National
University, Seoul, South Korea. Since 1995, he has been a Professor in the Department of Electronics
and Computer Engineering, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea. His research interests include speech synthesis, audio-visual speech processing, and machine learning.
